One morning me,my dad, my mum and my brother went to nana ma’s.My brother wanted to stay because he loves it there.So me,my dad and my mum went up town because my dad wanted to go up town and when we saw the flood my mum was like “no do not go through the flood My car might break”my mum said with a tone in her voice like she was nervous.My dad said “don’t worry about anything when I am driving nothing happens”. I was nervous because the water was deep.

It was freaky at first when we drove through the flood.But then it started to get fun.My dad gave me his phone so I could take photos and it was so deep.It went over the tyres.When I was sticking my head out of the window.My nana ma was behind us in a car and she was making faces at me when I was sticking my head out of the window.I was cracking up.My mum started to take photos and then when we got by the falls.My mum saw the flood and said “stop don’t go through the flood”my dad  “Shoosh I can make it”.And  then we made it through the flood and we passed someone.

I liked that day because I got to look at the gigantic flood.
